Process Control Software Developer

Process Control Software Developer
Industry leading Software Company is seeking applicants for Process Control Engineer/Software Developer position in our Industrial Controls Department.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years experience with Process Controls. Strong analytical skills required.
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent skills
  • Strong programming abilities in .NET, C++, or C#.
  • PLC experience a required
  • SQL experience is also a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop new software to automate processes in a Rebar Fabricating Shop
  • Support existing software, making enhancements and customizations as needed
  • Follow instructions per company standards and design documents
  • Provide assistance to company’s customer support staff and to users as needed, regarding software applications and machine interfaces
  • Learn the company’s base software applications
  • Learn the company’s primary users’ industry
  • Adhere to all company policies
  • Complete other special projects as assigned
